HELP NEEDEDASAP Videstudio Pro 4
Hi folks im in the brown stuff big time , i have an event Dvd i have spent 8 days editing , it has to be with the customer by tomorrow , i finished it lastnight but this morning i messed up big time i save a new project over it.....................
is there anyway i can recover or reverse the overwrite folks thanks in advance

If you saved a totally new project and gave it the same name as the old one, then I don't think you have any chance of recuperating the old one.
If -- as some of us do -- you saved the original project with different names over the course of the edit, then maybe one of the earlier ones will at least give you some chance of reviving the original project with minimal work.

Hi Ken yep i had the Autosolo all done & ready then started the stockcars event ,thought while i take a break i will set the Autosolo burning , clicked save as and clicked & confirmed by mistake the Autosolo thus putting the just started Stockcars over the top
Yep normally i do Ken but unfortunately i lost sight in my left eye a few weeks back and was rushing to finish 3 projects incase the optic neuritis spread to the right eye , i better put in an all day & all nighter, thanks replying mate

Not sure which project you overwrote but one possibility…….
Sometimes when you burn a disc the program creates a temporary project file, this depends on the workflow used to burn the disc.
Go to C:\Users\user-name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\14.0
Locate the file called PRJ_CREATEDISC.VSPTEMP.vsp
Open this project file in video studio, it may be a copy of the last burned project?
However that may not be the one you want.????
