Hi Phil,
Once you have your watermark on the image you do not need to save that as a psp file , that was just for the logo copyright etc. Instead you save your image with logo as a jpg file and that will beable to be uploaded normally.
1. At the beginning you mention me needing to have PSP8. What is that?
If you read Levifiction's post carefully , he actually said:
What's more, is this method can be used without upgrading to PSPX5 so long as you have PSP8 or higher.
He was not saying that you need PSP 8 (= Paintshoppro 8. ). Just that the same method works in all versions of PSP from 8 upwards.

The Text tool can be used to produce letters with just the background/fill colour, outlines text with just the foreground / stroke colour or a combination of one colour for the outside(stroke) and another for the inside (fill).

If you choose the text tool you will see along the options bar choices for Font type , size, and a bit further Stroke Width (just after Anti Alias) .

Once you finish typing the text you must apply it, otherwise other tools will not work. This is done in X3 (PSP X3) by double clicking or clicking the green tick button up to the left of the Font box.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Yes, I thought about the final watermarked photo type being needed to be selected from the drop down menu soon after I sent my reply! Sorry about that. I had just left it as it was left from the PSP watermark image.

I have been experimenting with the text specs and now am much wiser as to how to change it.

1) I have PSPx3 so that is ok - I didn't know about the previous 8 versions, hence my confusion.
2) Yes, I understand that now but have not watched the video yet.
3) This is still a sort of problem as the only way I can get to trim the watermark text is by double clicking on it. Only then I have access to the green Checkmark.

Then just now I had a look at the section where you cover the Script writing and recording and playing. I failed on all three!

1) & 2) Managed to do that ok
3) Tried to do that but really don't know what you mean
4) Would be ok to do that once 3) is achieved.

Before I get into running the Script for batches I will have to view the video you link as this is definitely going to be used.

Back to recording the Script there is a big drop down menu at the beginning of the toolbar. Do I need to do anything with that?

Thanks again for your help.

The drop down is the list of available scripts that you can run.

Once you've recorded your script, select it from that drop down menu and then hit the big blue play button.

I'm sorry this next part is so late. I was having trouble getting Windows to recognize my microphone for some reason.

I've recorded a quick demonstration of the whole process for creating the watermark, recording the script, and the final batch process. I hope this helps.
