Have you re-installed Video Studio X4???

Doing so will also restore Protexis should that be a problem.
Usually you get a message from Protexis reporting the system has been altered/modified

Install the program using Administrator rights.
If you are unable to install, create a new user account with admin rights., install using that account.

Video Studio should run from your existing account, you should be able to delete/remove the new account.

Been busy with preparations for a special service at church as well as looking for a 2nd job. I didn't do anything else with it until today, then clicked on the VS Pro X4 icon and to my surprise it opened.

Don't know how the problem cleared up, just glad it did.
