Links Appearing in Postings and Profile

Post by Klindar »

I notice in some of my postings and profile the occasional word has a hyperlink to advertising applied. It's not me doing this. Is it something the Forum software is doing?

Best wishes,

Hi

I do not really understand the problem, what is the actual hyperlink referring to, where do you see it?

Are you able to take a screen shot, create an image and post to the forum.

It is certainly not something the forum is doing - I have checked through all of you previous posts and can not see anything amiss in any of them - you could have a virus on your PC.

as Trevor says can you post a screen shot of one of the occurrences

The problem appears to be a browser add-on that somehow got into my system. Anyone without the add-on should not be affected. I have since cleaned out my add-on list of everything not obviously needed and the problem is foxed.
