mFT Lens Calibration: M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8

Post by -cr »

Not perfect, but good enough for my purposes:

Append to profile_olympuslenstable.txt:

Code: Select all

0 22 16|M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8
Append to profile_micro43.txt:

Code: Select all

begin lens
group: micro43
multiplier: 2.0
aperture: 1.8
calibrated: true
menu_lens: M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f/1.8
cal_abc: 17.0 0.0035963 -0.0444685 0.0185299
end

Thanks a lot!

You should add that the files are in /opt/AfterShotPro/supportfiles/Profiles/LensProfiles.

First the images had a strange saturation and became blue after the patch.

Then I deleted the user settings in ~/.AfterShotPro and the Catalog. Everything works now.

Regards
Thomas

In case you imported images before adding the lens profile: Try "reload EXIF" in the lens correction setting for the pictures.

(If that works and you want to apply it to many images: "fix" one image and use it to "copy selective image adjustments -> lens correction" and paste to all other photos taken with the 17/1.8 (use "metadata browser" + "link to catalogs" + "photo info -> ..." to find all of them, then "select all".)

For images imported/loaded after adding the lens profile, it should be automatically recognized.
