Hello, I am using Video StudioPro X4 and rendering a video that is about 15 minutes when it stops at 4% complete, showing the following words: Cannot read audio (0x80004005). Other numbers on the message are: (18300:8000:192). Is there a way to know why it will not continue rendering and/or which audio files to check?
Thank you.

There may be, but you have not provided any information on which to base even a guess!
So please right click on one of the clips in the X4 timeline and copy ALL its Properties here -- or else post a screen grab. And do so as many times as necessary if you have clips of different formats in the project. Obviously VS does not like at least one of the audio formats, but we need to know which one.
Can you also tell us what format you are rendering the project to, and what sort of editing you have done.

Re: Video Rendering Stops
The clips are a combination of mp3s, tracks from the sound library in VS, audio from wmv files, and audio from video clips. I am rendering the project to an mpeg4 HD format and it did actually work when I used the "same as project settings" option, but it had no sound in playback. As for the properties of each clip, it does not allow for copying and pasting them, so I will have to transcribe all of it and it might take a while. On the timeline, I have similar audio file types on Music Track #1 and on the project's Voice Track.

You can do a screen grab of the Properties page and use the "Upload Attachment" function which appears below the window where you enter your text when you post a Reply here...
But first off, successive versions of Video Studio have had difficulties with certain types of mp3, particularly those using the LAMEmp3 codec. So my first advice would be to use an audio editing program, such as the freeware Audacity, and convert your mp3 to standard .wav format and then substitute those into the timeline.
