I have recently upgraded to X6 from 4 and completed my first Video which included the addition of .jpg images .
Strangely the 1st version of this Video accepted the image uploads from my PC. Still photos originally came from a Digital Camera.
I have done a fresh edit the 1st version of this Video to include a voice over and when processing to Video it dropped out the still images.
I now find that I cant upload images anymore and tells me that it is " unable to open file " "File Format Mismatch ".
If I try to import file to timeline it comes back stating that " These files cant be added, Could be file format issue, lack of hard drive space or copyright protected.
If someone could assist with a quick fix or ideas it would be appreciated.
Thanks
Lance

Re: Video studio Pro X6 - JPG Upload
Hmmmmm, quick update after a few play arounds.
1. I still cannot upload a jpg to the work I ws doing.
2. I have just tested an older X4 project and uploaded to X6. I have successfully uploaded a JPG to that project and it works on the project replay.
So, have I in some way changed the settings or similar on my existing project for it to not allow JPG uploads ?

Re: Video studio Pro X6 - JPG Upload
Hi Lance
First can you read this web page, mainly to rule out this option.
http://lata.me.uk/corel/lenovo/lenovo.htm
Some, a few users have had this problem and does show as not being able to insert a Jpeg. All were however using W7 64Bit whether that is relevant I don’t know
The reference to X4 locations may well have been fixed by Corel with SP2 for X5. I know X6 was fixed prior to release. But that in itself did not fix the Import Jpeg error.
Even so the jpeg error does look familiar.
If it is the same issue, and just to confirm, first try running the program in XP compatibility mode.
