I'm just experimenting putting a project together and I have come across this option under the Project Settings under the Share Tab.
I cannot work out what it does? I have ticked/un-ticked the box but it seems to make no difference. I'm curious how this works?

Re: "Auto fade out first play to menu" - Explanation?
you need to preview the the disc menu to see it working.
If on the first page of the Create Disc module you select "use first clip as introductory video" then when you play the DVD the first clip in the create disc timeline is shown and when it ends you are abruptly taken to the selection menu.
If in addition you select "Auto fade out first play to menu" then as the first clip comes to an end it fades gently to the selection menu
