Video Studio Pro X4 Service Pack 3, how to check if installe

Post by hanspeter »

Hi Video Studio Pro X4 users

I've just opened my VS Prox X4 and I got the message that the Service Pack 3 is ready for installation. I did it, everything seems to work again, but where can I check if the installation really was properly made?

Further, I am not sure if I had installed the service pack 2 that was released in Nov 2011 because I never get any info e-mails from Corel, even if I registered for getting e-mails in my Corel account in case of new updates.
How can I make sure that also this service pack is properly installed? Can it somewhere be checked, or is service pack 3 only installed if the previous service packs had been previously installed (I mean I would get an error message when trying to install service pack 3, but service pack 2 was not yet installed).

Thanks for your help and advice

To check if service pack 3 is installed - open the Corel Guide (orange clock type symbol at top of screen) and click on the two little cogwheels in the top right corner of the guide - from the drop down choose "About VideoStudio" - when the next window opens look to the version number under the image - if the second number is a 3 - ie 14.3.#.# then SP3 is installed.

if SP3 is installed so are SP! and SP2
