Transparent Backgrounds
How do I save an image with a transparent background. I check of transparent background when loading up an new image. I set my image dimensions make color transparent and go. When I save the file in jpg it previews with a white background. I need to use my logo on different color media each time the logo sits in a white box. Whats the trick?

Re: Transparent Backgrounds
JPG does not support transparency.
Your best bet for JPG quality with transparency is a PNG. When you go to Save As, select PNG then click on the "Options" button in the bottom right-corner of the dialog.
Click on the transparency tab, and make sure it's setup to save with transparency.
Your other option, if you can get away with only 256 colors, is to save as a GIF. GIFs support using a single color as a transparent color.
