My Corel VS X6 Pro is crashing during a MPEG-4 1920x1080 export at 69% complete. Happened twice in a row. The error message refers to this dump file. I have been able to export this same video before, this just started happening.
Is this the right place to come for help? I tried to add the dump file as an attachment but the .DMP extension is not allowed.

Hi
You will be best sending the DMP to Corel Support, you should have 90 days free support. Access via your registered account.
There are no Corel employees on this forum, we are just like you --- Video Studio users. Besides we cannot open the DMP’s and if we did we probably wound not understand it.
You are rendering toe Mpeg4, what version of QuickTime have you installed, assuming you have installed QT.
Does the render always fail at the same point, if so what have you in the timeline at that point.

Sometimes mine stops at a point for a while before continuing. How long did you wait?

schwizer posted the system program crashed and he got the error message to send the dump file. So there is no reason to wait for anything.Old Grey wrote:Sometimes mine stops at a point for a while before continuing. How long did you wait?

Good feedback to look at timeline where it crashed. I had a text effect there, the little blue bar with the cloud animation filter. I deleted it and recreated it and then it worked.

Hi
Well we probably wont find out why the text plus animation caused the problem, but at least you were able to complete the render and that has to be good news.

Re: Program crash during video export
I have the same problem, crashes during render of MPEG-4.
I have no text or anything, took the original file (as rendered succesfully by X6) and multi-trimming it into smaller bits.
Re-render with 'Same settings as first clip' and it crashes.
Really annoying, this problem has cost me at least 10 hours this week, would be very pleased to hear of a fix.
