My Windvd Pro 11 Won't Even Startup Any More, Help Please

Hey everyone, I purchased Windvd Pro 11 last July and worked fine up to now, however when I come to load up the software now nothing happens, absolutely nothing, no warnings, or any indications that there's a problem, basically the whole software is useless, I've tried rebooting computer, and reinstalling software (and patches) and still nothing, and I can't contact corel support because it's more than 90 days since I registered it and I don't really want to have to pay money to get a support code, or have to ring them so if anyone here knows why it's not working and what I can do to fix it I'd appreciate it, thank you.

Only for a Nvidia card I assume. No such setting with my high-powered AMD 7970 card and my Corel windvd pro 2011 still doesn't work for DVD or Blu-ray playback. 07/20/2013

And welcome to the forums.
I don’t use WinDvd so not sure I can help.
However problems in running other software, Video Studio in particular was due to an internet Browser plug-in. Maybe this also affects other software?
I searched the Knowledge Base and found these details.

For Windows Vista / 7 / 8

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Programs and Features
4. Look for “Browser manager”, "Babylon" or "BrowserProtect" in the list then click on it and click uninstall.


Hope this Helps

One other thought would be to try running the software in XP Compatibility Mode
