Have you exported to just video files and played those on your system?
I have exported to a number of different video formats: BluRay, AVCHD, at 1080 and 720 (i and p) and have not noticed any more "judder" then what is in your original video you supplied. The quality is also just as good as the original.
The export to DVD video is of course reduced in quality

Re: Videostudio X6 and 50p footage
Long time ago (~30years) I was interested in the field/frame behavior of my “Commodore 64”. for linear editing. I programmed a testscene containing an audio oscillo and numbered 50Hz fields. I recorded this sequence onto a VHS tape. I played this tape back on a 50Hz monitor and filmed the monitor screen with my Panasonic TM700 in 1080p50 mode. The result was that each field displayed on the monitor became a frame on my 50p Pana. So a 50p numbered sequence is the result. It is a perfect test movie to verify what converters, MLE’s…do with 50p footage. When processed to a BD file the frame skipping, resulting in 25hz refresh, can be clearly verified in e.g. the Splah Lite player in frame bij frame mode, An “in camera” conversion shows the correct re-interlacing which is needed for BD and DVD, but unfortunately not available in VSX.
Just download and unzip the test sequences in http://we.tl/cfCVXEQQSp

Re: Videostudio X6 and 50p footage
Hi erdna
The clips are very interesting and quite useful in identifying lost or duplicated frames as each has its own number.
The In Camera and VS X6 conversion looks identical to my eye.
Thanks for providing the samples.

Hi Trevor,
What SW player did you use to verify the frame by frame mode? In the VSX6 conversion there is one number missing in every other frame, and the oscillo is single (= two fields from the same original frame). In the in camera mode , the numbers are blurred and the oscillo is double: one from each 50p frame is used for each interlaced frame (=two fields). Of course judder will not occur in either of them because there is no tracable motion in the testmovie.

The best way to see the difference is with the Splash Lite SW player in frame by frame mode and de-interlace disabled.

Re: Videostudio X6 and 50p footage
Dont worry I am having the same problem except mine is from a 2010 Canon DSLR capturing 1080p 25 fps MOV, as per my post:
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=50456
keep an eye out for it as someone might be able to find a solution.
I am still wondering if this can be fixed as this problem has been happening since VS PRO X3. Well, that's when I first purchased the product and subsequent "PAYED UPGRADES". Now I am at pro X5 with still no fix in sight. I have downloaded the trial X6 but still same problem.I wont be buying that with all the new gimmicks!!
When will Corel take HD seriously and fix this problem and other related issues. Goodness sake, they still don't have a option of h264 compression for Apple QT and we are moving into h265! ( yes I do own QT PRO 7.x)
I would hate to see the 4K output from VS PRO x6.
By the way, I am now using Premiere Pro CS5.5 and it does not have these VS (from version to version) inherited encoding problems. It encodes and compresses without any problems to anything you want. Having said that, I have paid for multiple versions of VS so I expect it to do the basics and that includes being able to encode HD correctly without stutters, judders, shimmers, stutters or any other similar description of poor non fluid output motion quality. It should work as advertised, otherwise it is just a fraud product. I still keep an eye on these forums from time to time to see if anything is done about it.
