Two Pass

I am using videostudio 8. I am trying to figure out how to TWO PASS to improve the quality of the video I captured.
Can point me in the direction to do this.

Let's hear first what exactly you are already doing. If you are transferring ("capturing") digital video in DV-.AVI format, there may be no need to improve quality.

Give us some details: Where the video is coming from, via what method, and what you are running UVS8 on.

Two-pass encoding cannot be used during the capture phase, because the first pass needs to scan the entire material to decide on how to best encode it during a second pass.
