Clearly twelve hours is far too long. But since you tell us nothing about the project it is impossible to say what the problem is. So can you please give us more details about what is in the project including the format of the video and what editing you have done.

I'll start off creating a dvd from my files, adding music for the beginning of the disc menu and then adding a title to make it looking professional. On the output page I select create to disc, create dvd folders and power off the pc when completed which select burn and it start burning. 12 hours later it's still burning.

As I already said, we need to know the *format* of your original videos. So please right click a file in MF timeline and copy ALL its Properties here, either manually or via a screen grab. And if some of your videos comes from different sources, do the same for them too.

dvd-video is not a video format, do you mean your video clip you are inserting into movie factory is mpeg2?

FWIW, I used to find that using the MF 7 Moving Path option in making the menu used to cause either the program to hang completely, or extend the burn for several hours when it worked (though never to 12 hours!!) Unticking the Moving Path box on the Edit tab when making the menu resolved that issue. It is perhaps worth trying to see if that is the culprit in this case.
