VS9 sync issue

I read on another post that the sync issue was 'fixed' on VS9. I am still experiencing it. Strangely enough, though, it just cropped up.

here is the scenario:

I created a project file and followed the recommended procedures. Everything worked fine and the final DVD was in sync. Later i went to create a second DVD with the same project file, (same procedure - created video file, since I had deleted the first one in cleaning up) and the sync problem cropped up.

I've changed none of the project settings, which were at the defaults both times.

Any ideas?
