Sound clips

Post by Pete Waterman »

Hi all
I'm after a sound clip like the first sound you hear on this http://vimeo.com/16347114
Does anyone know of a good site for Free sound clips
I have done a quick search on the forum but cannot find anything? Unless I have missed it.
Thanks
Pete

Sounds like metal wind chimes. Local garden centre with recorder!

I have two CDs that may be of interest "Spectacular Sound Effects" Vol 1 & Vol 2. Still available at Amazon.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

The first sound I hear sound very much like a bird song - the nearest I could find on my computer was "Bird01.mpa" located at :-

C:\Users\Brian\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\Bonus Content\Audio\Animal

if you do not have that folder then download the "Bonus Content" under the "Do More" tab in the Corel Guide.

If that is not right for you then a Google search for "Free sound Clips" got me around 150 million hits - give it a go

I haven't looked for the particular sound you need but I have found all sorts of free audio/ noise/ sound effect solutions at this sight (you'll want to join by the way): http: http://www.freesound.org/home/ . The membership (it is free) constitutes a world wide community of pro and amateur folks swapping sounds. The sight is so handy that I put a shortcut on my desktop.

Steves "Free Stuff" post is here : - - http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=12931

I must be listening to a different soundtrack because from 00.00 to 00.19 all I hear are short bird chirpings - then the music comes in

I definitely hear the wind chimes! And I have signed up to Don F's suggested site -- looks as though it could be very useful. So thanks for the link... :D

Yeah! Ain't it great. Having fun browsing through it. The first wind chime recording that comes up is good.
