Does anyone know if they have a tutorial to do what was on the cover of the new Paint Shop Pro box ?
I've attached a picture of what I am talking about .
Is there a tutorial to it yet ? ... or is there a tutorial to something similar to it ?
I've been looking , but cannot find any kind of tutorial on it .
Got a question about Paint Shop Pro X5 please ...

I've never seen one but if no one else posts one I just finished recording my own version of the effect, and am working on editing it for upload. I'll edit this post with it once it's done.
EDIT: Here it is.

This isn't a great tutorial. I completely screw up right at the start but I think I recover slightly.
It's a bit long. And is almost exactly what Joelle suggested, I was very happy about that. Though my method of creating the selections is a bit different.
Here is the final image I came up with. The tutorial doesn't show this but I removed a small amount of extra space from the bottom of the back most slices to make it match the PSPX5 version a little bit more.

The easiest way is to for a Triptych tutorial, or take an image, use the Selection Tool>Rectangle to divide it into 3 or more sections:
Make the first selection and promote that to a new layer, which is Ctrl+Shift+P on your keyboard.
Go back to the original layer, with the selection tool still active, right-click on the selection and drag it to the next part of the image. Promote this to new layers as well. etc. etc.
Now you can apply different treatments to every section and assemble it to look like the the X5 graphic.

Thank you very much LeviFiction and Joelle .. I do appreciate your help and I will try that Tutorial.
I figured what they done must have something to do with selections , but I have never seen anything done quite like that before , and wanted to try to see if I could make it.
Thanks for your help .
