Turn Off Snap
Is there any way to turn off the Timeline 'snap to closest clip' function. I want a small gap between some clips.

No -- you can't do that in the main timeline. There can be no gaps, only end to end or overlaps. You can, however, put everything in overlay tracks which do allow gaps...

How about for sounds. Do I use the Music Tracks, because there seems to only be 1 Voice Track.

there is one track labelled Voice and up to three which are labelled Music - but in practice you can put any sound in any of those tracks - voice in the music track if you like - and any sound effect in voice or Music tracks - it would be better if Corel just labelled them all Audio.
