My workshop version is 2.0
I use it creat a DVD movie include subtitle
By watching on PC ,everything looks fine
But on DVD player, the subtitle will flicker every sec.(FYI,I put timestamp which split from DV AVI as a subtitle)
Can anyone explain me why it happens on DVD player but not on PC?
I am using NTSC and VBR 6000 .Thanks.

Why subtitle flickering every second on DVD player?
I don't really understand what you are saying.
I have extracted a typical real s-t sequence:
#0 00;00;35;00 00;01;10;00 X:299 Y:507
Text 1
#1 00;01;45;00 00;02;03;03 X:302 Y:511
Text 2
#2 00;03;22;16 00;03;37;17 X:281 Y:511
Text 3
#3 00;05;01;10 00;05;10;21 X:225 Y:511
Text 4
You have s-ts, the first one lasting 29 frames, the rest lasting 29.97 frames (presumably). As s-ts are not allowed to overlap, it takes 1 frame to change from the first to the second and so on. It would therefore seem to me normal that you would see a hesitation as the new s-t rewrites. Your DVD player processor is certainly slower than that in your 'puter, so that explains easily why it is more apparent.
