mismatching sound when outputting DVD in the studio X6

Post by valkol »

Corel VideoStudio Pro X6. The file is made in H.264 Video M2T ( large ) , in the DVD - mismatch-Sound !!!. If an MPEG-2 , the output DVD OK !?

VStudio X6 : there are 2 of the same file , 1 made in H.264 Video M2T (20000 bit) ( 1 hour ), 2 to MPEG-2 Video M2T (20000 bit)( 1 hour ) . When recording to DVD -
1 file ( H.264 ) - in DVD is sync sound , if 2 ( MPEG-2), then the DVD is fine . Why do so with the format - H.264 Video M2T ?

Welcome to the forums! But I am afraid we need more information. If I understand you correctly, you edit your AVCHD video then go straight to Share > Create Disc > DVD. But can you please confirm this is your workflow?

I assume your reference to mpeg-2 is to when you are editing mpeg-2 then burn a disc and have no problems? Is this correct?

If so, then have you tried a slightly different workflow: finish editing your AVCHD, but then select Share > Create Video File > DVD (if your project is an hour or less). This will then produce a DVD-compatible mpeg-2. When that is done, start a new project. Don't worry about a name. The objective is just to clear the timeline. Then select Share > Create Disc > DVD. When the burning module opens, its timeline should be empty. If not, delete whatever is there. Then click the Add Media button in the top left of screen and navigate to where your new mpeg-2 files is located. Make sure the 'Do not convert compliant MPEG files' box is ticked in the cogwheel Options icon in the bottom left of screen. Build your menu and burn.

This workflow allows you to first check your new mpeg-2 before opening the burning module. You can can play it in a software DVD player to make sure the audio and video are syncrhronised.
