Help. My slide text keep dissappearing!

When I put text onto a slide, it keeps dissappearing.
I'm double clicking on a slide in the organize tab & then entering text.
I have saved it, so the type should be there.
But when I open up the slide show again to do more work on it, the text is gone.
Any tips for making my slide copy stay on the slide?

Also, can the crop marks on a slide be moved/changed?

There's a patch on the website that should take care of that problem. If that doesn't work, try saving it under a different name.
