I was experimenting with using PSPIMAGE layers to create a multi-overlay video that I could use to duplicate the "Ken Burns" 2D to 3D effect. I figured out some things -- like locking the transparency on the layers. But the output still seems a little flaky to me.
Has anyone else experimented with this? For example -- should I drop the image onto the main timeline track or onto the first overlay track? It appears to work better dropping it on an overlay track.
Then, after I drop it and mess with it, using custom motion, I can't click on any of the tracks to highlight them -- I have to RIGHT click the track to bring up the context menu and THEN I can change the attributes. But I can't drag the clips to make them longer, etc.
Also, one more hint -- the cursor changes when I click on one of the generated overlays from the PSPIMAGE file -- it looks like the scroll wheel has been activated om the mouse -- but only while I'm hovering over the overlay...

Re: VS X6 - PSP Layer problem?
A little more information on this -- it appears to be a problem only when I create Mask Layers and use those -- if I create a regular old raster layer, all works as expected.

There is a message when using PSP in VS that only Raster layers are accepted.
