Saving in multiple formats concurrently

Post by parkieuk »

Is is possible to save in multiple formats concurrently (CS4 & CS6)? Our images editors are having to "save as" .png and then again as .psd in order to complete their work. Clearly the overhead stacks up over time.

Not concurrently, no. But if you have no need to change the save options you could just record a script.

Doing a straight record you would still have to enter in the file-name twice. Once for each file-type. If you edited it slightly you could get it to ask for the filename only once.
