Re: titles
Welcome to the forums! But I am afraid you are going to have to give more detail on what you are trying to do. Which "beginnings" are you talking about?

Re: titles
When you click on the side bar on "samples", you get a series of subjects from beginning, middle ,etc. When you click on one of them you come up with a series of what look like titles. Thety are all captioned Video Studio. I womder if i can chabge those captions to ones I would like to add.

In order to see the beginning, middle, ending etc. libraries you must be clicking on the magic wand icon - not samples.
The magic wand icon opens the 'Instant Projects' library and the whole object of them is that you can change everything in them to make it YOUR video - so of course you can change the text - it is supplied saying Videostudio for you to change.
click on one of the thumbnails and drag it down into the timeline in order to use them.
Double click on the text bar in the timeline - and the text will appear in the preview window in a box with yellow blocks around it (these allow you to resize the text) - double click in the text box and you will go into edit mode and can change the text to whatever you want.
Also note that the boxes with numbers on are just place-holders - if you want to replace them with your own images - hold the 'ctrl' key on your keyboard down while you drag your material from the library down on to it - that will retain the time of the image to keep the project working correctly.
and a final note - it is not essential to use those instant projects - you can make videos without using them.
