I have a problem with installing Corel Vs x6 ultimate.
First everything worked out fine, but in the half of the installing progress everything freezed, even the system clock at the rigt bottom...
(I think this prob. came from my other corel Vs, Corel Vs 3, they use the same registry keys, but I removed VS3 later)
So I restarteted and tryed again. Of course Corel asked me to remove x6 before installing. So did I. But after that, Corel is still asking for removement before installing.
When I click "ok" now, it waits 4-5 seconds and I get the message: This function was not successfull because there is no product, which can be unistalled. (Which is totally correct...
What I did yet:
Going to the programmlist and try to uninstall it there, but it wasn't there anymore.
So I unistalled Smart sound, Windows Media Encounder 9, Microsoft c++ and so on
I cleaned bin, regestry and the temp wiht "CCCleaner"
I cleaned "temp" manually and I deleted the Corel folder in "programs"
I tryed to delete all the regestry folders manually, but they were not there anymore.
I also deleted all files on PC, which refered to Corel /Videostudio/ etc
But nothing changed...
I don't know how corel checks, if there is a version of VS on Pc, maybe I can leave this step out, somehow?
and yes, I worked as Admin,
no antivirus programm...
and I'm not bying a new pc for this...
Fhew, annoying. Actually I had to finish up a birthday film for a relatives 100th bd tonight... That'll be embarrassing tomorrow...
Hope someone has an idea how to solve that prob.
Greetings
Daniel
