Hi John
Once you have set the folder to view the clips as Large Icons, you then have to set that choice as the default view.
To do that you access the Tools--Folder Options—View Tab.
1 / go to View to set the current view as large icon
2 / go to Tools-Folder Options-View Tab
Selecting ok will set the view for that folder
Selecting Apply to All will do just that, probably not what you want.
are you saying that does not work?

The first image is all you need.
Having first set the display you access that window.
The comment at the top “you can apply the view etc…….
If you press that button all windows will view the same.
Simply pressing Apply will set the current window only.
You will also find details on the Microsoft web site.
