Full install from CD of PI10 fails on print to network printer using XP Pro sp1.
On attempting to print, PI10 closes and am returned to the desktop.
Any ideas or soultions for this?
Any help greatly appricated.

In WIN XP;
Do you have Privilege to use the Network Printer? If so do the following:
To automatically search for network folders and printers:
1. Open Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Folder Options
2. On the View tab, select the Automatically search for network folders and printers check box.
Note:
When you select this option, Windows automatically searches for shared folders and printers on the network. All shared folders and printers that are found are stored in My Network Places.
After completing the above:
Open PhotoImpact, open any image file, go to File, Print Preview, In the List Box Named Printer name: make sure the Name of your Network Printer is selected.
If the Network Printer is installed but not listed, or PI will not print you will have to reinstall PI. Make sure you turn off Anti-virus, Firewall, and any other applications running in the background.
