Missing Font: BETSY

Post by PRIEST »

I have Paint Shop Pro X4. I File/Open a .PSPIMAGE file and I get a Replace Font window telling me I am missing Font: BETSY.

I went to a download site http://desktoppub.about.com/library/fon ... anagan.htm and downloaded a Font called BETSY FLANAGAN which appears to be the font I need.

In the dropdown box for the Replace font, I search and find the BETSY FLANAGAN font I downloaded to the FONTS Folder. When I insert it, the text where it is used comes out odd. I have the original jpeg file, so I know the font is not the same. Is BETSY FLANAGAN the same as the missing BETSY font?

Suggestions and /or a URL where I can download the correct font for free?

I have both fonts and the look the same to me; look like keys on the keyboard.

I have BETSY installed (different from BETSY FLANAGAN). It doesn't like like keys on a keyboard. (BETSY FLANAGAN does look like keyboard keys.)

Instead it looks like this:

I don't remember exactly with which software this font was originally installed, though.

A search for "BETSY Regular" with Google, Bing, or with your other favorite search engine should give you the results you need.

Just be wary of sites that don't give you the option of downloading the original TTF, especially if they only allow you to download an .EXE...

Remember to install the font to properly make it available to Windows programs.
