How to Pause when VideoPanning?

Post by pjl3dm »

Ok I have a little problem in my video, I wanted to use the video pan filter but I want my video to stay still after panning (a sort of pause). Because when I extend the duration of the video clip in the timeframe the panning only goes slower.

I want to pause it for some time after the video panned.

How do I do it? Please help me.

Thanks

Select Customize Pan and Zoom. Select the tab for End. Enter the amount of seconds you want to pause at the end.

One way I found was to clip (using the scissors) the end of the video where you want it to pause. Make an image from the last clip and place it after the end of the clip you used with the scissors. You'll be able to pause the still image for as long as needed.

and that is the only way to do it if you want the pause to be longer than the panning. Animechick's way will max out at 50% of duration (33% if you use the middle keyframe)
