Working on Mac using Parallel
Hi I have just brought a new Mac computer and have Windows on it in Parallel however I have been told that it is not recommended to use parallel for video studio - is this correct?? Is there a chance of Video Studio being made compatible for a Mac? Thanks

Re: Working on Mac using Parallel
I cannot comment on the parallel business. But I don't think there is any chance at all of Corel ever making VS compatible with the Apple Mac iOS... In any case, the standard video editing program which comes with Apples is pretty good, and the better version -- Final Cut Pro -- used to be an industry standard, though some controversy has raged over the most recent version.

Re: Working on Mac using Parallel
Why not using iMovie?

Thanks surogat! I couldn't remember the name of the Apple program, but it was iMovie as you say. That is what I meant when I said:
In any case, the standard video editing program which comes with Apples is pretty good

Re: Working on Mac using Parallel
Hi all-
Did you try to run a trial of VideoStudios on your partitioned hard drive? I would love to know how it worked out as I purchased a mac as well since I needed to upgrade my system (what was I thinking?!?!) ... and am finding out that there are not many good video editing programs out there, unless you want to spend a heck of a lot more than VS and get a heck of a lot less.
I am curious if Parallels or Boot Camp would work with VS.
Thanks,
Vicki
