Re: Can't import MP4 Videos to VSPX5U
Hi mauricio14
Thanks for the sample
I do not have time to fully test and /or convert the file but was able to add/insert to the timeline.
Rename the file changing the extension to MOV
Copy of My Great Game - My Great Capture - 2013-03-19 08-41-26.mov

Is it a regular rename? I did but the same problem came up.

Hi
Yes it’s a regular re-name, changing the files extension from MP4 to MOV
MP4 is for all intents and purposes a MOV.
When you view a folders content do you see the file names extension, if not then you have to deselect Hide Extensions of known file types.
Access this from any windows folder Tools- Folder Options – View Tab
Not used Mediia Fire before, this is the file that works on my pc.

I tried your mp4 file in another video program (Roxio Creator 2012, also a Corel product) and it worked fine there.
Other mp4 files I have also work fine in VS X5 and/or X6 so it must be something that the capture program does to the file that gives VS trouble.

It's odd. It worked fine in movie maker and anything else I threw at it. I'm just glad I don't have to convert it :p
Thanks again folks!
