Instant Projects editing?

I seem to recall, though things always change from version to version that I could drag some of the instant projects into what I am doing and edit them?
I drag them in now, and I find now way to edit out the "Video Studio" logo and edit other things. Possibly I am doing it wrong. Seems the more the add,
the less easy it is sometimes. I miss some of the old project stuff, like the drive in. Seems they could of just added as they upgraded.

There is nothing particularly special about the Instant projects - they are just a set of standard elements with affects applied saved as one project.

I can drag them into any position on the timeline and edit what I want

Which particular one are you having problems with I'll see if I have a problem with it.

One thing to note - some of the instant projects use a lot of tracks - have you scrolled down to the very last track to see if the element you want to edit is down low.

That could be the problem, you used to just click on it and edit it. Only problem when I put them into the timeline that it gives me an option on the shift. If I insert it into the timeline it looks like it inserts something into all the timelines? Seems the only problem with the way they do it now, you can barely see it in the timeline, maybe I will have to enlarge the timeline or something (if that makes sense). Like I say I use to just click and was able to get the title, possibly I have to click the title line to edit?

yes - if it's a title it will almost certainly be in the title track.

if you hover your mouse cursor in the thin black space just above the timeline and under the library the cursor will change to two parallel lines with up and down arrows attached - press and hold the left key while pushing upwards - this will enlarge the whole timeline area. - press F7 to restore the UI to it's default.

I found when I saved it and opened it that that portion of the timeline expanded. Not sure if it is because I placed it in the timeline afterwards,
or possibly a glitch.
