Do More Icon Gone in X6 RESOLVED

To the lower left of the guide is Do Not Display On Start up. select that

Close and open Video Studio, access the Guide using the orange button top right.

Does that make any difference?

It may just simply re-appear, I am not sure if Corel are still working on the downloads but certainly things do seem to disappear now and then.

Did you try doing this?

This issue has now been resolved.
When you receive the Order Receipt/Invoice it states:

Important Instructions
Read this before you download…
If you are unlocking a trial, there is no need to download the software again. Simply launch your trial and enter the serial number (SN) provided below. You will then have a fully functioning version!
If you do not have a trial version installed, please download the software by clicking the download link below.

If your upgrading to X6 Ultimate, then this would appear to be an incorrect statement, the trial version has the file name VSX6_Pro_TBYB.exe whereas the full version has the file name VSX6_Ultimate_PF.
I noticed that after entering the Ultimate key to the trial version, nothing changed, ie. the splash screen when launching X6 stayed the same, neither did it say that I was now running the Ultimate version.

So my advice to other members who have the trial installed, do not try to activate it, but uninstall and download again from the link provided in your Order Receipt/Invoice.

So, for the moment, I am a happy camper again

Thanks for the feedback and glad you are all sorted.

We are aware that you should uninstall the trial version, especially if you purchase the Disc version, as the disc serial number will not work with download versions.

On the Mon Mar 18, 2013 11:18 am you said you had “re-installed again” I had assumed that you had used the new purchased files?

At least you are now up and running
