I dropped the NEF files into a dir and pointed ASP at it. It says there are no images in the folder. What is the usual turn around time to get support for a new camera ? I hate to think I am going to have this camera and not be able to post process any pictures. I am a linux user, so ASP is pretty much my only choice right now. Really hope this is resolved quickly

D7100 Raw Files not found
I have been holding off on buying ASP until the Nikon D7100 came out since this is going to be my next camera. I have a trial version, and just downloaded some D7100 raw files from here: http://www.photographyblog.com/previews ... 00_photos/

The last time AS received a camera update is Summer 2012.
At the moment it seems as is a zombie.

I honestly don't believe that your camera will ever be supported, nor any of those released since the last time cameras were added to ASP. If you want to know why, read these forums.
Some people have had success by using EXIFTOOL to edit the EXIF model field and change it to a supported model. You'd have to be fairly desperate to do this, but then perhaps Linux users are.

Re: D7100 Raw Files not found
That really sucks. I just used exiftool to test changing the metadata to say "Nikon D7000" and sure enough - ASP opened it just fine. The tragedy here is, the picture looks fine, but because of some hardcoded camera list, I can't open pictures from a camera.
I *REALLY* want to support this product, but this is a deal breaker for me. Looks like I'm going to have to run lightroom in a VM...tragic

Why a VM?
With a simple patch Wine works just fine and it is faster than the VM.
