Welcome to the forums!

Frankly, though, I have no real idea what could be causing that problem as we don't get many users with equipment like your Datavideo recorder which can produce video at that high bitrate. I am also surprised that X2 seems to show it properly since it is now a rather old program. Have you tried X6 with video recorded at the slightly lower Datavideo bitrate in the 20 - 60 Mbps range? If so, how does that appear?

And have your tried rendering a short clip of the 100 Mbps video to a new video? How does the resulting video look -- also green? What does Share > Create Video File > Same As First Clip produce?

Sorry not to have been of more immediate help but most of us are just starting to feel our way into these new areas of high bitrates (me with a GoPro Hero 3...) Hopefully someone else with more experience in this area will soon jump in with more useful suggestions...

I suppose you have your 100Mbps (moving) video on yr PC HDD. Is playback OK with a standard SW player (WMP, VLC,...) on your PC

Actually was a mistake on our side.
We didn't mean to record at 100mbps. But we got this new equipment and someone set it wrongly at 100mbps.
So now I have to salvage the video by editing it to lower bitrate.

Yes, at lower bitrate it runs fine.

it generates just green video also when I render it as DVD format or 'same as first clip video'. But audio is fine.
What I mean is the video generated will have green running video, with no images at all but audio is running fine.

Playing the 100mbps m2t file with sw player is fine with VLC and Nero Showtime.
But with GOM it keeps crashing even with the latest version, and with windows media player it is showing black screen. So source video itself is not exactly right I guess.

BTW, if I just drag the file to timeline, don't click anywhere on the timeline but just click play button for preview, the video on the preview window runs fine, showing me the video. The moment I click on the timeline or drag another file onto the timeline, video on preview screen becomes green.

Actually I am happy with pro X2 but we just got new laptops with windows8 and so have to consider upgrading to Pro X6.
Thanks again for all the help.
