Did you have a mask-layer or adjustment layer selected at the time? If so those layers are 8-bit greyscale layers only and will only show greyscale colors. Adjustment layers have a mask-layer built in that's why they also act like 8-bit greyscale layers when selected.

To get the normal colors back simply click on a full color layer in your layer palette.

Thank you for letting us know which version of Paintsho pro you are using. Now there are a number of ways to change eyecolour. Which one are you trying to use? Please list steps as if you are explaining to a 10 year old (that way I might understand :D )
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Hi Dyer,

I think you misunderstood what Levi was saying. There is no full color button. He was asking if, by chance, you had an adjustment or mask layer selected. If so, this would explain why you were seeing only grey scale instead of full colors. To remedy this you would need to click on the full color layer in your layer's palette. If you were not working with layers then you can disregard this suggestion.
