what is .vsp1 format and how do I change it?

I downloaded some movie clips off my digital camera, which I could view individually in quick time. I then created my movie, which because of computer space cannot view totally. so how do i change file format from .vsp1, which the movie is now, to something i can view like quick time or windows media player? This is so i can remove the ulead movie editor for more space to view the movie smoothly. Any help would be appreciated. thnks

Don't recognise the .vsp1 file extension are you sure about that - is it not just .vsp

The .vsp file is not your video anyrate it is a VideoStudio Project file which just contains the instructions for video studio as to which edits etc to use, your movies are stored on your HDD as .avi or .mpg depending on how you captured them. If you want to export your edited movie go the "Share" and then "Create a video file" from the .vsp file choosing what format you want your movie saved as.

i have never heard of .vsp1 either.

however did you use the ulead movie maker? perhaps that is the extension they use on this to save that type of project?!?!
