editing queue

Post by saintex »

Hello,
I have several videos to elaborate.

Is there any way to acquire, modify and finally setup the final settings on all videos,
and then to launch the tasks at the end of work?

I mean: I would like to process all files (with my modification) only at the end.
In this way I could elaborate any videos and finally launch the queue at the end
(may be night time).

Is it possible?

Thank you for replies.

Hi

I am not quite sure what you are trying to do.

A general workflow would be to:-

1 / Add the video to the timeline
2 / edit the clips
3 / File “save” or “save as”, this saves the project as a vsp.

Repeat the above with other video files.

Video Studio has a Batch Convert option, File – Batch convert.
You can add all the project files to render all to a video file of your choosing.

Otherwise you would simply Share Create Video File for each project.

---------------
You may of course be referring to editing multiple clips in the same project, some edit options can be copied and pasted to other clips.

So can you expand on what you actually wish to do.

Thank you for your reply.

Because I have an old windows XP computer,
I would like to acquire, editing the videos in the same working session,
finally, when I finished all my works, I would like to save them:
but because the "save process" is a long time task for my pc,
I would like to do it at the end
(so I can editing and I can go to sleep, while my pc works for me).

The operations I have to do are really simple:
I have to rotate the videos and to save in the best format I can have (see http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=49998 ),
so - yes - batch processing is an option, but I'm completely new in Video Studio, and I don't know how I can do it.

Hi again

Batch Convert requires the user to set the conversion properties.
The settings are in a similar format when you use the Custom option.

Make Movie Templates Manager will allow you to try out the settings process.

You do of course need some experience in setting the correct properties.

There are some details here in using the manager
http://lata.me.uk/video_studio/manager/manager.htm

Once you get used to the panels the rest is easy.

Hope this helps

By the way, if you choose the correct conversion properties you may find the conversion times reduce.
