erase through multiple layers in PSPx5

Post by brucet »

I've hit a problem that some here may help me solve. maybe it's not possible but I'll ask anyway!!!

I have a photo that I've duplicated into 4 layers. (1 background layer and 3 edit layers).
I'm trying the use the Erase Tool to erase the same section on the 3 edit layers at the same time. This action saves me repeating the same erase on all three layers as separate actions.

Any ideas on how I can erase 3 layers at the sametime?

Regards

Make the area you want to delete a selection then select each layer in turn and hit the delete key.

Thanks. That works but I was hoping for a single action. Maybe there isn't one.

You can also group those layers under a mask layer. This is non-destructive and will mask the same area on all layers in the group just painting with black.
