How to change Audio Input in Videostudio X2 and x5

Post by Jorchking »

In ULead VideoStudio is very easy, because I connect the Easycap but I want to change the audio input by the Orange Input (Is connected the audio from the video of easycap, because the easycap Audio do not appear in recording devices to change the volume, because is too high).

Is Ulead VideoStudio SE is easy:

But in Corel Video Studio x2 x5 I can't change the audio input, only is the easycap audio input, but I want to change to the orange input.

Do you understand me? I can't do a perfect english XD, but If you can help me with this I'll be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.

The audio from the easy cap is in the USB connection.

Do you have a sound cable from the source of your video connected direct to the orange connector

Yes but I can't manage the USB device volume, because do not appear in "recording device" in sounds. The volume level is too high. For this reason I use another input for the sound.

EDIT:
Here is the image that In Ulead VideoStudio SE I can change but appear this message in about 9seconds when I started the recording:

http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx20 ... 22d1b5.png

It's Mean something like that "Do not video captured. Please, verify if there is signal input...."

But this problem do not appear when I record in WMV Format.... But have lower quality.

Any help for these problems please...

The image shows that VideoStudio has recognised that sound is on the orange connector (at the back of your PC)

the image says you cannot capture Video.

Hi

The image of the capture screen shows that the audio has selected the “Line –In” connection. (lower right of information panel)

Either change the "pc audio recording input" to use USB
Or
Connect your red/white audio leads direct to Line In, bypassing the Easycap device.

so so...

look at this:

http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx20 ... 807f48.png

I cannot select the audio device or audio input, in Ulead VS 10 I can but I have the error of "cannot start the capture graph" or "No signal device..." in Honestech or in Corel Studio x5 I do not have those problems, but I can't change the audio.

Thanks in advance...

Hi

1 / If the Easycap device came bundles with Video Studio 10, it would also have a driver for the device, it is most likely that this driver is not compatible with Windows 7. for that matter neither is Ulead VS 10
Or have you updated the easycap driver.
------------

2 / If you are unable to set the USB audio properties in your PC’s audio/sound properties, then you could connect the source audio directly to line-in.

I mentioned this in one of my earlier replies, have you tried this option.
-------------

3 / If you have a video card/capture card installed on the pc, some installations require a link fitted between the audio out on the card to line – in on the mother-board.
---------------

4 / You also mention Honestech, I assume this is a USB capture device, if so then this may be Windows 7 compatible.
Did the Honetech come with any capture software, if so use that to capture the video, then insert to Video Studio to edit.

So are we trying to fix Easycap or Honetech, and which Corel program are you using?

About number 2, I did it. In this image you can see than I can't change te audio source:

http://i755.photobucket.com/albums/xx20 ... 807f48.png

The version of Corel Studio is x5, of Ulead is Version 9 to 11.

Can the problem be caused by a fake easycap device?

Thanks.

Hi
Sorry for the delay in my reply, I seem to have missed your response.

Yes problems can be attributed to fake products.

Video Studio Version 9 will allow for greater options when setting the capture properties, X5 will be limited in choosing a template.
However I see you are using Windows 7 so I guess X5 would be the best for windows compatibility.

The Ezcap web site does give some details regarding connecting the audio directly to your pc Line-In terminal.
The video being streamed via Easycap.

Don't worry for the delay.

Yes, Now I have the X5 version and Record perfect!! The One problem is that only record the audio from the device, not from an external audio, for example, pc audio panel
