Recent Files
Every time I launch Paint Shop Pro X5 my recent file list is empty. I thought the program was supposed to remember the last four images that were opened. I then have to select File > Open but now the program defaults to a folder called My Pictures. I store my images in my own folder elsewhere. I would like to set my folder to be the default folder. I have to navigate to my folder ever time I launch the tool. If I go to File > Preferences, I do not see a place where I can change the setting. Thanks for any help.

Re: Recent Files
More information ? What mode are you opening in. Manage, Adjust or Edit. And what updates?
I have X5.0.0.183 on XP Home and in Edit mode mine defaults to last used folder and Recent Files shows 10 files.

Re: Recent Files
When I start the program, it always opens on the Manage tab, which is another problem as I would like it to open at the Edit tab. The results are the same for all three tabs. The Recent Files list is always empty. The version I am running is 15.2.0.12 which is the current version available as of today. When I try to Update, I receive a message "No current updates available".

Re: Recent Files
You can change this by going to File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences -> Default Launch Workspace and set the program to open to either Edit or Keep Last View.edwardr2013 wrote:When I start the program, it always opens on the Manage tab, which is another problem as I would like it to open at the Edit tab.
