Installing of mp3 into vs x5
Hello!
I don't understand how to install mp3 into video studio pro x5 ? I am installed k-lite mega codec pack, then, ffdshow_rev4499_20130104.
I am choose *.avi , 30 fps, 800x600 , h264 (from k-lite) (2000 kbs, ultrafast, tuning:film) and want to choose mp3 , but i can't find it.
1question : How to install MP3 into pro x5
I am capturing avi file with (h264, 4000 Kbs, ultrafast) and (pcm,1114 kbs). BUT!!! in "project" mode it is playing very slowly! .. and i must to convert it to mp4 file with h264(4000kbs, ultrafast, level 4.1) and aac(192 kbs). This second file is better to playing in "project" mode.
Is there any problems with avi-container in video studio?? or it is my problem?? i saw that proxy files are dont creating in avi(h264,pcm) ...
so my 2 question is: Why video studio cant read normally and played it in "project" mode normally? where is problem?
thanks for answers.

Hello
i am sorry but I do not understand what you mean by installing mp3 into VideoStudio - mp3 is an audio format and VideoStudio is already programmed to deal with it.
Why are you installing extra codecs - you do not need to to use VideoStudio - many people have trouble after installing the k-lite codecs
to use an mp3 file just insert it into one of the audio tracks of VideoStudio.
I notice the word "ultrafast" in your mention of the video file - does that mean a high frame rate - how fast ? 60fps or more ?
it is possibly playing slow because VideoStudio is playing it at 25 or 30 fps - is that correct.
VideoStudio is designed to edit virtually all avi files - where do your videos come from - what camera

Re: Inserting H264 Mpeg4 mp3 audio into vs x5
Hi Stanislav
Wow a lot going on here…………
First
To insert your video file to the timeline, “right click the timeline” and select “Insert Video”
Browse your hard drive for your video, do you see any error messages.?

Re: Installing of mp3 into vs x5
Hi
Ok so you can insert the video to the timeline.
Right click the clip and select properties, i guess by now we know what they will be but can you post an image of that window?
Proxy files
Right click the clip in the timeline and select "Create Proxy Files"
Go to Settings-Proxy Queue Manager to view the files being converted
Go to Settings - Proxy File Manager to view created files.
Ok
Share Create video File is Same as First Video file available?
Hope i have this correct as i am not on my own PC at the moment?

Re: Installing of mp3 into vs x5
Hi
Can you try setting these properties, Share Create Video File – Custom Avi - Options Button
Microsoft AVI files
8 bits, 800 x 600, 25 fps
Frame-based
Microsoft Video 1 (Compression Tab)
15 Key frame rate:, 75% Quality
PCM, 44.100 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo
Does that allow you to render the video.

Re: Installing of mp3 into vs x5
Yes, ofcourse !
but it is rendering very slowly... as i said if i will reencode this file to mp4 (h264,pcm) then it will be render very fast and i am like it. but with your setting it is very slowly rendering.... 1 hour about 3-4 hours rendering vs 20-25 min (with mp4 file)
Problem with MP3 SOLVED! To include mp3 we must install http://codec.kiev.ua/Audio/Fraunhofer_M ... CODEC.html it is Fraunhofer_MPEG_Layer-3_ACM_Pro_Audio_CODEC. Then it is appears in VS PRO X5 !!!
But problem with abnormal reading my files is not solved yet =((( help ((((

Re: Installing of mp3 into vs x5
Hi
Your Video files do look a little non-standard using 800 x 600 and ffdshow that being 4:3.
I would have thought a widescreen aspect would be more suitable.16:9-------1280 x 720 would give good quality.
Where exactly did your video file come from, if you are using a capture card are you able to set the capture properties. Are you limited in using AVI, if so what other codecs are you able to use , if Microsoft DV is available you could try that.
Mpeg2 may be the best especially if you can set HD sizes again 1280 x 720
Mpeg4 may be another option.
Smart Proxy
Have you been able to create Smart Proxy files.
I noticed in one of your videos that you changed the location of the proxy files folder?
