Batch convert vsp projects to video files already exists in VS.Curt wrote:From several .vsp-projects to output/convert/encode the single video file (Videodatei erstellen) in Batch with one film template (Filmvorlage)
DVD authoring was yesterday - today is streamed from the NAS to the TV. So I now render video projects (.vsp) in VideoStudio as individual files (Videodatei erstellen). With Full HD 50p projects which lasts a few minutes and I can not cut in this time. With several hundred clips from vacation it sucks.
Hence my request for a new batch function for the encoder of VideoStudio X7: Several .vsp-files to be issued in Batch with a self-defined film original/template (Filmvorlage). Just as the earlier DVD rendering: compile everything first and then go drink coffee

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
I would like to be able to crop an overlay video in other shapes (not just a square). I would like to be able to crop overlay videos with a circle shape and I would also like to be able to crop using custom shapes so I could crop certian parts of a video and cut out parts of the image that I dontwant there.

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
You can already effectively crop to any shape by simply putting a mask in the next overlay track down - like so :-

Make switch-able when you want the effects/transitions go ONLY to the layer/track/text you work with or chained it with previous / laid below (before) ones (like it is now). Or am I not able to do it by my lack of edit skills?

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
I want to see VS be able to edit and render video files with higher bitrates, at least for mpeg-2 video (but probably other formats as well). I have programs which produce (obviously non-standard) mpeg-2 video at 12000 Kbps, but VS X6 Pro/SP1 (and earlier versions) has great difficulty editing those files, and even on those rare occasions in which editing works, when I then try to save the results using "Share -> Create Video File -> Same As First Video Clip" to try to retain that bitrate, VS fails utterly. Surely, VS Pro should at allow editing 12000 Kbps mpeg-2 video and then outputting a video file at the same bitrate.
Another issue I have is that when creating an MPEG project with "Settings -> Project Properties... -> Edit -> General Tab -> Frame Size", the section for setting User-defined frame sizes is ALWAYS grayed-out/disabled. Whereas if you do the same with "Microsoft AVI files", you can select any custom frame size you like! I'd like to see that custom frame size ability with MPEG files work the same way. I have hundreds of mpeg-2 files that were, for whatever reason, created with non-standard frame sizes that I wish to edit and save. The mpeg-2 encoding Codec should be enhanced to allow this, too.
Thank you for providing this opportunity.

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
this is what I want most from version X7,
MultiCam Designer NEW
Import, sync and edit videos from 4 cameras
Synchronize the tracks by audio, timecode or time taken. Easily switch between shots with hotkeys and instantly create multiclip track recording.
new feature from a competitor, that I have been wishing for.

A bitrate like that suggests you are dealing with high definition video. 8000 or 9000 kbps are about the maximum bitrate that standard def DVD-compatible mpeg-2 runs to. You need to select Share > Create Video File > Custom, then select "Mpeg Transport Stream (*.m2t)" as the format. Then hit the edit button to change the various properties. Unfortunately X6 does not support some Turkish characters as ğüşiöç. Even unable to type these using ASCII codes. I have tried to type in word processor then copy and paste but did not work. Try to change keyboard language did not work as well. Hope Corel Team considers
Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
i have requested couple of time but still missing in all new versions. already selected clip from the library or folder should show tick mark. so we can come to know that video clip already selected to the time line.
other wish could be reverse play back on editing display windows. it would be very easy to go back and edit even from the time line.
i have attached the image to make them understand things better
hope the corel guys will consider this

Video Studio ProX6 AVCHD render in original quality
My Sony camcorder PJ780VE takes AVCHD 50p on up to 26,000 Mbps. Video Studio ProX6 can not really deal with it. The encoder still limited to 20,000 Mbps. A smart rendering is not carried out, even though it is active.
I wish:
Genuine Smart Rendering for the current AVCHD video from Sony standards. So spend 50p at full bit rate.
Just a quick render in batch mode, as with the direct output. Since there are currently large differences in performance.
In batch mode, the ability to save parameter profiles ("original film" / “Filmvorlage”).
Greetings Curt

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
I would like the transitions to apply individually to each overlay track.
Presently the "wipe" applies to the entire project.
My application is on the video track I have an interview with my 90 year old mother [who died in May].
When she mentions a certain event - I have photos or videos show in
- Overlay track 1 [anchor to top right]
- Overlay track 2 [anchor to bottom left]
One photo/video will follow the next one. I could have all photos the same length but can't control the length of the video clips.
Presently there is no way to have overlay track 1 transition between photos/clips separate from overlay track 2.
If I use a WIPE transition, the effect applies to the entire project.
My workaround is to just drag them end-to-end on a track with no transition.

Re: VideoStudio Pro - Wishlist for Version X7
This is a known problem which we have been pressing Corel to resolve. Not all the transitions operate this way. Some, like Crossfade and Dissolve and others, operate correctly and only affect the overlay tracks. So you might want to experiment to find one which can substitute for Wipe...

Not at all sure what you mean by Advanced editing saad - and what your image is supposed to show us.
I can put up a similar image for VideoStudio showing 21 video tracks, 2 title tracks , one narration track and 3 music tracks (can also be used for narration or sound effects)
so what is your requirement

I think VideoStudio should list Audio tracks separately on the main interface. I know there is an option where you can show Audio tracks separately, but it is better to have these on the main interface.BrianCee wrote:Not at all sure what you mean by Advanced editing saad - and what your image is supposed to show us.
