Convert video to 4:3
Is there anyway to convert the video to 4:3. When I save it 4:3 file it doesn't cut it down. It makes the video look back. Can I cut the outside edges to make the video 4:3?

You do not tell us what size your Video is originally - given the limited information you have supplied I can only suggest that you try to use the cropping filter you will find in the "FX" library of VideoStudio - but you will of course lose some of the image at the edges.

Re: Convert video to 4:3
It would also be very useful to know why you are wanting 4:3 aspect ratio. Most people start off with 4:3 and want to convert it to 16:9, so it is interesting to know why you appear to want the oppositite... though as Brian suggests above, we don't know what aspect ratio your original video has...

Hi
Other than using the cropping filter-------If you wish to resize the video frame you have a few things to set……..
1 / Video Studio defaults to using Widescreen 16:9, go to Settings and de-select Enable Widescreen 16:9. This will change the project to use 4:3 ratio.
2 / Go to Preferences F6—change the Background colour to anything but black, your project frame shape will show in the preview screen
3 / add your video to the top track… Double click the video to open the Options panel
4 / Choose the Attributes Tab then tick Distort Clip. a bounding box will show around the video showing in the preview screen
5 / Drag the Corner trim handles, the yellow square, this will resize in proportion. If you re-size using the edges it will distort the frame.
6 / Right click the preview screen for extra commands, use Anchor –Centre
Note when changing to 4:3, using Fit to Screen will distort the frame.
