A couple years ago, I had a problem with MF7 and the Continue to play the next clip setting:
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=40664
Unfortunately, I had to reinstall Windows 7 and MF7 and now Continue to play the next clip no longer works. I have Virtual Box and even a spare computer to play around with so I have tried MF7 on fresh installs of XP Home x86, Win7 Home x64 and even Win8 Home x64 with no luck. At one point I installed MF6 on XP and I discovered that Continue to play the next clip works fine in that version. I even downloaded a trial of VideoStudio X5 and Continue to play the next clip works in that program, too! Unfortunately, I cannot load my MF7 projects into either of those programs.
Here is some additional imformation:
- I have ISO files created with MF7 pre-reinstall that I burned to disk and Continue to play next clips works so my dvd-burner is ok.
- I loaded the MF7 project from the ISO file that burned ok and re-built the ISO file but the disc made from that ISO did not work with Continue to play the next clip.
Does anyone know what might be causing this setting to not work with MF7?
Can anyone confirm that Continue to play the next clip does work in MF7 and, if so, what OS is it working on?
Is it necessary to install and run MF7 as Administrator?
I would appreciate any help as I have several projects that I would like to burn to DVD and I don't wnat to have to make them over again in MF6.
Thanks
Continue to play the next clip - the sequel

Hi
This seems a long standing problem you are experiencing.
Can you give some further details regarding the video files you are adding.
On the second window of Movie Factory 7 is the option to Add media.
For each video file you add a thumbnail is placed in the timeline.
Each Video file is a Title showing in the main menu.
How many thumbnails do you see?
Navigation Controls
These set how the DVD reacts to the remote control, they control the Titles of the video, they do not affect Chapters.

Re: Continue to play the next clip - the sequel
Hi Trevor,
Thanks for the reply.
The video files that I typically use are the AVI files that are created when capturing from a mini DV camera using MF7. Sometimes I will use mpeg2 files that have been converted using MF7.
I typically use 2 1-hour videos so there are 2 thumbnails on my timeline.
Regarding the navigation controls, I have everything unchecked and Continue to play the next clip selected.
This is especially frustrating because I have been making DVDs this way using MovieFactory since version 3. In the past 10 or so years I have made about 50 DVDs using the same process. Why with MF7 will this one setting not work correctly?

Re: Continue to play the next clip - the sequel
Hi
I have X3 with a SE version of DVD Movie Factory, I have to say I have never used this to burn a disc, I have always used other versions of Video Studio.
I have just tried DVD Movie Factory, unfortunately it gives me an error immediately after pressing Burn so I cannot check the process. working on that????
You can test/play the ISO files using VCL Media Player before burning a disc, but it should react the same as it is an exact image of the disc.
I have never had a problem with the navigation controls using Video Studio.
Just a note to say the navigation controls affect the Title Menu not the Chapter Menu, from your description you are only using the Title Menu so that should not be a problem.
