Registration problems

Post by john7 »

Can someone help please. I have a copy of Aftershot Pro (Amazon). It activated no problem but later when it started registration my internet went down. No problem I thought, but no register option in the menus but on Corel web product registration is says invalid number. As Aftershot isn’t listed in support its likely there web site hasn’t been updated for it so maybe that’s why. I gave up trying to phone, I should have membered from years ago how support was a joke. So please does anyone know how to restart the program registration?

Why bother. There is no need to be registered to run it.
As long as you can enter the serial number everything is fine.

I don't recall any incentives being offered with ASP (unlike PSP). And FWIW, I bought ASP when it was first released, and not only had trouble establishing I had bought it, but have never managed to register it either. That just goes to show that even Site Admin people and Moderators here have no control whatsoever over the Corel.com website or its registration process!

There use to be a version of the Vigne plugin that was made available to registered users...
Not sure if that is still true.

Thanks for replies. It doesn’t surprise me there are such problems with Corel and products. Its many years since we used Draw (after Corel succeeded to driving some much better products out of business with their annual “new” version policy (we used Professional Draw that had some technical drawing abilities that it took Draw years to catch up on (if fully) and came on a hand full of floppy discs with Draw already multiple CD’s)). Then as now with Corel you were very much on your own to deal with their buggy programing. Oddly I never had registration problems so they have managed to introduce a new level of incompetence over then,
