My first post
I have looked everywhere for this but although I mark in mark out, try inverting, try deleting etc. I cannot seem to cut out parts of clips that I don't want to appear. Is there step by step set of instructions I could consult?
Sorry for typical newbie question!

Re: Deleting parts of clips
Get to the point where you want to make the first cut, and click on the little scissors icon below right of the preview screen. This will establish the cut. Then move to the end of the part you want to delete and click the scissors again. This will insert a fresh cut. Then click on the clip between the two cuts and delete.

Many thanks Ken!
Clear, concise, straight to the point! Plus I've noticed that unless you maximise the VS, the scissors do not appear...
