Opening X4 to specifc layout

Post by nanrector »

Hello!

Right now my program opens to the "manage" screen. I changed it way back when, due to freezing issues. It's freezing more and more now and just recently started showing a HUGE preview screen on the right. Not sure what I did to cause this but I'd like to change it back to opening to the Edit screen. Could someone please remind me how to do that?

Thanks you!
Nancy

Go to the File menu

File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences

Under the Default Workspace option select "Edit"

Save.

Though depending on what the problem is this may not solve it completely. If you can't even get to the menu to make the change, reset your workspace to the default by opening the program while holding down the Shift key.
