I just installed (today) a new retail copy of PSPX4 on my Windows XP system (which I use for printers, software, and peripherals not compatible with Windows 7) and was prompted to install SP2. The update installed in a seemingly normal manner until it reached the 99% mark. Then it stalled and the following message appeared: "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {5617BF49-9195-4C35-B9AD-F8D165DE25BB}. HRESULT: 0x800700B7." After clicking OK to clear this message, the installation eventually stopped and stated that there was a Fatal Error, and that no changes had been made. I rebooted and attempted another installation of SP2, which failed in the same manner. Thinking that I needed to proceed incrementally (even though SP 2 apparently incorporated SP1), I rebooted and downloaded SP1 and successfully installed it. When I then ran SP2 again I achieved the same result indicated above. Can anyone shed light on this issue?
I explored the possibility of receiving warranty support from Corel, but found their site so convoluted and confusing that I could find no way to request Corel's direct support.

Re: SP2 for PSPX4 Fails
I think I remember reading that error code in another post and the fix was to turn off your antivirus during the install. Hope that helps.
